RIBA National Award Winner 2023

We’re delighted to share that our Holborn House project has won the RIBA National Award winner 2023 and the RIBA West London Regional Award 2023.

Quinn London was appointed by Holborn Community Association to undertake an impressive plan to redevelop their existing building. With the last upgrade completed 60 years ago, the existing building was no longer fit for purpose and was inaccessible for older people and those with disabilities.

Works started by stripping the old basement back to its concrete structure and opening it to the sky, with a new roof with lantern rooflights over a multipurpose hall, and a two-storey street-facing extension providing the entrance and function spaces. The result is a more accessible and more visible building that has allowed the community association to expand the range of cultural, social, and sporting activities they can offer.
