Quinn London’s Partnership with Cook for Good

Quinn London is celebrating a successful first year with Cook for Good, an award-winning social enterprise tackling food insecurity, social isolation, and health inequality. This dynamic partnership has allowed us to make a real difference in the community, all while offering our teams the chance to connect and hone essential cooking skills.

As a business we are proud to share because of this partnership, over 76 of our team members from our Heritage, Central London, Property Services, and Overhead Teams coming together to prepare meals for over 260 community members.

As one team member shared, “It’s been fantastic to be part of this. I’ve learned so much about the Cook for Good services and seeing residents come together was truly inspiring. When they all said thank you, it felt brilliant.”

One of the many highlights we have experienced, was when our Central London team prepared a special Nigerian menu for the community. This event was a huge success, with many of our quantity surveyors, asking for recipes to take home. It was more than just cooking—it was a chance to learn new skills, bond as a team, and, importantly, give back to the community.

One resident from a Cook and Serve shared their appreciation: “The meal today beats anything I’ve had from a restaurant! I love coming here, there’s such a great community spirit. I’ve made so many new friends. If I didn’t have these meals once a month, I’d just be sitting at home.”

In addition to our hands-on involvement, Quinn London has hosted Cook for Good at our Soho office for a community lunch, where we highlighted their Cook for Good Soup Recipe Book to our staff.

Miriam from Cook for Good added, “A huge thank you to Quinn for their incredible support in 2024, the Quinn team embraced every challenge with a smile, and we loved sharing our newest addition, Soup for Good, in your offices.

Beyond meals, Quinn’s partnership has helped create over a dozen paid shifts for graduates from our employability program, with all profits reinvested into initiatives addressing food insecurity, social isolation, and health inequality. “

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that we will be sponsoring the Men’s Grub Club, an initiative that brings older men into the kitchen to cook, eat, and build new friendships—helping reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing. We’re also exploring new ways to grow our partnership with Cook for Good, ensuring we continue to make a positive impact.
